Emotions in words
Emotions are infectious, are they not? do you remember when you cried in the movie theatre during an emotional scene, or you just laughed with your friends even without knowing the reason why they were laughing. sounds quite familiar right? oviously it does, it happens with all of us everytime. you know emotions are an integral part of any conversation same as smell is to food, food is delicious when it tastes good as well as it smells good. we are so habituated with our perception of food, that we hardly differentiate between smell and taste of it, but it becomes evident when your favourite dish doesn't have proper amount of sugar or salt in it.Then it may smell aromatic but you cannot call it ambrosial. so the question is, why we are considering this analogy. let me tell you we are doing this to understand how an effective communication is incoherent without the proper emotions associated with it. you must have read about the "I have a dream" moment of Martin Luther king jr's iconic speech in washington on August 28, 1963 , even today if you'll watch that speech you will get goose bumps and it may just give you that extra chunk of inspiration that you have been desperately looking for. You may ask what made that speech reserve a permanent spot in history ? It was the emotions of the man who articulated those words , and it became a milestone in history of mankind's struggle for freedom. we often come across people , who are so good orator that they force us being their admirer without even trying for it. whether we accept it or not we all want to be like them, but then at some point of our journey we simply accept our lack of knowledge as our reality. Which is not at all true, we all can place enormous weight in those words. The trick lies in backing the true emotion behind our words, letting it flow as we speak, letting it hit the heart and mind of the one they are meant to. "Expressing oneself is a need, but living in the heart of people with that expression is an art ".
